The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa (CFNEIA) is celebrating National Volunteer Week, held April 17-23, and Global Volunteer Month. CFNEIA is proud to recognize its more than 350 volunteers, serving 23 affiliate community foundations in a 20-county region. Bill and Judy Travis were married in Dallas Center, Iowa at the Dallas Center Methodist Church on April 12, 1952. The couple owned and operated Travis Hardware/Texaco Gas Station from 1963 - 1969 and then later relocated to Vinton to open Travis True Value Hardware from 1969 - 2005.  They have three children: Pam Travis Primmer (Rick), Vinton; Tom Travis - deceased (Connie), Vinton; and Susan Travis, Waukee.
